Default Compressor Over Inflating Possible?

Hi guys. The air compressor for the suspension failed on my 2016 LR4, and it was replaced by the dealer under warranty. The suspension now feels particularly stiff and jittery. In my mind's eye, it feels over-inflated like a balloon ready to burst. I even hear (what I perceive to be) stress creaking noises.

But could I just be imagining this? Is it even possible for the system to over-inflate the bags in the suspension?

Thank you,
Rob

If your vehicle sits at the same height as before, it’s not over inflated.

Thank you for the response. That is a good point. However, can't there be a point where, the suspension height difference may not be noticeable to the eye, yet the PSI in the air bags could be slightly higher than normal (or higher than was previously), making the ride less flexible and cushion-like?

I can imagine that with anything inflatable, there is a point where the perceivable size no longer increases (without measuring anyway), while the pressure inside is higher.

Thank you,
Rob

In my opinion, this would be negligible.

Did they change the tire PSI? This sounds more plausible.

No, the air pressure is relieve to height and the curve value is not enough to have a massing impact except on the extreme ends. Meaning if the truck is low and thus pressure is low you would notice. Likewise with high pressure beyond extended mode you would notice stiffness. If you have driven in off-road height you know there is not really a noticeable difference yet the heigh difference is measurable.

Also keep in mind the system monitors height and galley pressure, it can not exceed about 250psi or it will vent off. I tend to agree with abran that it may just be tire pressures.
