I have a D4 early 2016 based in Ireland (so UK spec). The instrument binnacle does not have the park assist button. I had a LR tow bar fitted when new, and recently bought a boat and trailer. The trailer does not have electronic connection to my sockets. When I select reverse the sensor picks up an obstacle and sound the shrill warning, and the radio volume control does not turn it down (seen as solution in other posts). I need to be able to turn it off when with the trailer, and on with normal operation. Any ideas?

There should be a button to shut off the obstacle warning buzzer. Mine is on the right side of the dash center console. It also lights up red. Push the button and the red light and the buzzer will go out. Phil
