Over all he loves it. A little upset at how soccer momish it is compared do the ride of the Discovery II he had.

A quick question...even though the factory didn't install roof rails or a roof rack, is this an easy ad-on? Thanks guys.

 

I installed my extended roof rails in about 10 hours. mind you, this was the first legit work I had done on any vehicle and I did not have proper tools. The trickiest part is aligning the rubber seals on the rails to the grooves in the roof. if you have 2 people, I would guess you could do this in 4 hours or so.

doing it yourself will save you several hundred dollars.

I posted multiple pics in the thread of the extended roof rails. Also, go to the land rover website and look through the accessories brochure. There are pics of both.
