Talking Eco mode off

Hello, I am trying disable ECO mode. Other than disconnecting the battery is there any other solution such as removing fuse please ?

I did notice that if I have my HVAC turned all the way down to get the car cooled (Florida heat) that ECO never kicks in! Of course at some point the car gets cool enough so as soon as I return the dial to anything other than showing LO on the dials, ECO ooeration returns. Someone posted a change to the HVAC system computer settings which seemingly disabled ECO, but didn't confirm vehicle type (DISCO/LR3/LR4) or years. Soooo, at this point - no truly known simple fix.

There is a company that made a harness for the Cadillac XT4 that plugs into the Start/Stop button in the console that stores the memory of the last switch position so we don't have to remember to hit the button every time we restart the vehicle. But GM didn't introduce an annoying light on the dash whenever the switch is off so that is a plus. It would be a bit more complicated in the LR4 telling it to keep switch off and yet turn the darn dash light off too!
