Electrical Issue... gremlins???

Do you recall having a water leak from the sunroof prior to having this issue... were your carpets wet?
Do you remember how much did they charge you for the new BCM (parts and labor)?
Does anyone know if the BCM has to be programmed to the car of can I pickup a used one off the internet and where is it located in the car (2012 LR4)???

it’s a 2012 with90k miles I bought in January. Previous owner said sun roof drains were leaking but he replaced them. The dealer replaced the bcm and when they did that the ignition ecu wasn’t communicating so they replaced tha for an additional $450. In all I think it cost me $3000.

Update....
Its been some time and I had success.... car stopped acting up.
I figured that it was the water from the sunroof causing the issues.... so with all the help and pointers I received did the following.
Unclogged the sunroof drains and cleaned and sunroof gutters.
Removed all plastic covers from both front and rear passenger foot wells. Dried the harness... towels and air compressor. I let it naturally dry for a day with open doors.
I took the ground out.... cleaned and put it back in.
I examined under the glove box for signs of water... but did not see any water marks.. it was not wet.... in my situation I guess I didn't have water common from that way... I shook things up there behind the fuse box and used an air compressor to give it a good clean. I did not take anything out under there.
I put everything back and so far I been driving long trips and the car is fine!
If it starts acting up I will remove the fuse box and bcm module and clean them too.
My suggestion is to keep the drains and gutter clean and at any signs of water fix it immediately!!
Thank you all for your help.. experience and suggestions!
