I just purchased a new to me 2012 LR4 that has never had a front license plate. There are no existing holes to mount a plate. I live in Virginia and they require a front plate. Does anyone know if there are holes in the bumper behind the plastic cover or will I need to drill my own?

 

You'll have to drill your own, unfortunately. They're just plastic self-tapping screws.

 

Well, if you haven't already drilled you bumper, this is what I used.

I bought the medium US size, and it worked out really well. Still required drilling but it's on top where it's unseen. Holds the plate just fine even over mikes of bumpy trails.
