Hi All - trying to replace a front turn signal bulb on a 2016 (the one with the weird PY24W base).

Access is from the cover to the side of the headlight housing and is very tight - can barely get any fingers in. Have tried reaching in to twist the black base but it doesn't seem to move either direction, and didn't want to push it before I broke something. Any tips on how to get it unlocked?
