Gap iid use/help
2015 LR4 HSE (No HD) -
Looking for some info on the iiD process for CLEAR ADAPTION VALUES. Once selection is started, does it provide a list of system(s) that can be reset such as fuel pumps, O2 sensors, etc. Or does it reset everything across the board? And once completed, it states it will require a security reset. What security and what process? Reason is I would like to see if Resetting the O2 sensors would resolve an issue with it throwing the CAT Bank 1 bad error code.
Wondering if shop (dealer) actually did this after replacing both the high pressure fuel pumps. If they didn't (or if they did and it didn't work for bank 1) it may help the ECU get newer data on the bank 1 O2 sensors and rule out a clogged CAT code P0420.
