Hey Guys I am a noob when it comes to travel trailers. My wife and I just purchased a airstream sport 16. being our first travel trailer the size was less intimidating. and should be plenty of room for the two of us. My 2012 LR4 has the tow hitch assembly installed already but I do not have the wiring harness installed. I was also told that I need a brake controller. my questions are . 1) are these things easy to install? 2) what exactly do I need to do to get my Lr4 tow ready. 3) If I do install the wiring harness myself which looks fairly simple will I need the dealer to update the computer? Has anyone gone through this process?

The light harness is plug and play if memory serves. No idea on a brake controller though. Only thing I have towed had surge brakes.
