Default Key Fob replacement, LR4 won't start

So I have done a general search and come up empty, hope this community can help.

I replaced a dead battery in my key fob, it locks and unlocks like normal. I try to start and there is nothing. Tried several different times/trys and won't crank over.

What am I missing?

You're not really giving me enough to go on. Is this a coincidental issue or is the replacement battery not strong enough in the fob for it to be recognized by the vehicle?
I also don't know what vehicle you drive. If it was like mine, placing the fob under the steering column would assist with starting if it was the fob battery.

I'm an idiot! Apparently I didn't step on the brake pedal hard enough! Starts up just fine now.
