Loud Turn Signal and Jumper Cables
Does anyone know how to turn down the volume on the turn signal indicator? It seems unusually loud and annoying.
Does anyone else carry Jumper Cables? If so where do you store them? I was considering the top of the spare tire, but there doesn't seem to be a large enough storage compartment inside the vehicle for our cables.
Other than that we love our LR4 so far we're taking it camping this weekend and are looking forward to seeing how well it tows our Travel Trailer.

I concur on the loud turn signal. It must be a carry over from BMW's ownership. My wife's Bimmer also has loud turn signals. I don't think there is a way to turn it down.
I don't carry jumper cables, but probably should. Did you get the Rear Seat Entertainment system? If not, you should have compartments by the window sill on both the right and left side. It would be a tight squeeze, but you may be able to cram them. Otherwise, you might try laying them flat underneath the third row.
As for camping - just be careful not to leave the rear lift gate open for an extended period of time. On our last camping trip, we made that mistake and had to wait several hours to get a jump. This is one area where land rover could have done WAAAAAYYYYY better. They should have some sort of auto-off feature for interior lights and electronics after leaving doors (or at least the rear hatch) open for an extended period of time.
Have Fun!

I agree about the "auto-shut off" of lights and etc. Um, Ford has had a low-voltage cut-off system for over ten years. When I first got my RR S/C I came out to a dead battery just to find out that it was because I left the tailgate open... really?? W O W
