LR4 Front Wipers wont work
2011 LR4 HSE (stock)
Last night, driving home in the rain, the wipers simply stopped in a vertical position. Turn it on this AM, still stuck. Checked the arm bolts - no issues. They are already snug. I checked the fuse as well (#29 I think) and it is fine. Also, the rear wiper works fine and when I engage the steering column stalk I can hear the wiper motor but still no movement from the wiper arms...I searched the forum and haven't seen this specific issue (or I missed it). The glass was replaced but like 18 months ago. It is garaged so its not a case of the wipers being frozen to the glass or subject heavy snow (in fact, like I said, they were working fine coming home in the rain...until they weren't). Any ideas?

Thanks for the response. The arms do move. I was able to move them back to start position before checking how tight the nut was. How hard is it to fix the linkage (e.g. is that a DIY or something the dealer needs to fix?). Hard to answer without knowing how capable someone is but I'm fairly handy but never worked on the wipers before (I have done plenty of other LR3 related fixes like rear hatch lock, rear wiper motor replacement, washer reservoir replacement, etc...)

Update: took it in to my local shop today. Seemed like a lot of work to get at the linkage (more time than I have). There was a loose bolt that likely wasn't properly tightened when the wind screen was replaced and it just took this long to finally pop off. So, thank you LR Teckniker - you were spot on.
