2001 DII Wipers wont work!
I have recently been having issues where my wipers seem to be rather finicky.......if I turn the wipers on they have like a 5 - 10 second delay and then they turn on, and sometimes I have to "jiggle" the switch to get them to move. But last week I started my Disco and the wipers swiped three times and they were in the off postition, and now they wont turn on at all????
Is it a bad switch or something to that effect and can this be something I can fix myself?

Ok the plot thickens..........I went out just to check the fuses and all is well so I jumped in and drove to get myself some lunch and tried the wipers.........they work again, now this has happened in the past also where they wont come on in the morning but work fine in the afternoon
I'm puzzled!!!

My wipersdid that for the first time this morning also. Todaywas the first frost and the temp was around 30-40 degrees. Is that your trend also? It stopped once the truck warmed up to operating temp. I'm going to start cranking my trucka few minutes before I leave, because everything was sluggish untilit hitthe usual operating temp.
Would that situation (cold weather)lend tothe pinpoint of theswitch freezing up and going bad Mike?

I am not really sure if its the cold or what the real culprit is but I want to make sure I do the right thing.......so far it sounds like a bad switch now let me make sure I dont screw this up, I want to order the whole switch/arm assembly correct?
