Default LR4 oil level sensor?

Hello there,

I LOVE my Land Rover but can anyone help with this one. I have a 2010 LR4 and the digital display shows that my oil level is at the minimum. I just had the dealer add 8l of synthetic so I know there is oil in there. Does anyone know what to do? Is this an oil level sensor and if so does anyone know what is all involved in changing it? Is this something I can do myself?

Thank you to anyone that can help in advance.

Scott

You can email direct too if that works ( I have never been on this forum before) scott@degelman.com

Can't remember if it is in the manual. If not call your service advisor. If I recall correctly, truck needs warmed up, on a flat surface and hood open before the electronic sensor will do a actual read of the oil level.
