Disco 4, SDV6 2013, 92.000KM. Yesterday, whilst driving a little ..vigorously, I got the "reduced performance" error, and went from train to carriage. I went ahead and used a generic code reader - got P006A - MAP - Mass or Volume Air Flow Correlation (Bank 1).
Stop/ restart, error gone. Cleaned the MAF sensors with air sensor cleaner, - both pretty clean to start with, cleaned the MAP sensor (also pretty clean), done a new run, error came up again.
SDD diagnose, full test. Here is what I got:
Before I go to the service tomorrow to tackle it, I was hoping for your imput on the matter. Would really appreciate it. Any ideas?
Thx
Smoke in, smoke out. Right side manifold cracked. Land Rover dealership wanted almost 2k euro to change it, fancy named indie 1000, my fav indie “anglo cars” dedicated, 500 euro. The oem part itself is about 250. Hopefully the nasty truck will be in one piece again, by tomorrow.
As a good diagnosing practice: lift the engine cover, put a paper underneath, drive a little and look. The oil gets splashed through the crack (if any).
