LR4 Speaker Grill Removal ??
Looking to insight as-to how one removes my speaker grills (e.g. special means or without damaging)?
Appears the prior owner of my car messed around with the front in-door speakers, as there is something hanging from the top inside them that is visible. Also, the drivers-de tweeter isn't working and either needs wiring repair or replacement.

You have to remove the door panel and remove them from the back. The grilles are crimped to the back side of the door panel, so you'll have to un-crimp them, and then they can be removed. They don't just pop off.
Thanks for the heads-up ... Of course some more brilliant British proprietary engineering to inconvenience owners versus something far easier, but likely the grand design to push us into giving up and conceding to the dealership to fix.
Anyhow, the other reason to remove the card is to clean the inside of the door and apply rust inhibitor while you’re at it.
