Hi to all fellow members! I just had a question for everyone, wondering who has the answer because I am having trouble finding it in our forum and also online in general.
we are pulling a 29 foot travel trailer across country from Minnesota to the Oregon coast and everything is going smoothly, I simply am curious what the maximum operating temperature is for the six speed transmission in our 2012 LR4.. my scanner seems to be showing on the high-end 80°C or 176•F and even in the mountain climbs through the Rocky Mountains it will not get hotter than that. And absolutely No burning smell from the transmission.. I changed the transmission fluid last month with the Atlantic British kit “Which was awesome by the way..” So I know I have fresh fluid in there and I just am curious what the maximum temperature I should be at in case I need to pull over and let things cool down..doesn’t anyone have the specs by chance? Just overall Highest “safe operating” temperature..
