Default Need opinions - V8 vs. V6

Hey gang,

Looking at getting either a 2010-2012 V8 or, IF I can find one, a V6 HD. It is my understanding the V6 gets slightly" better gas mileage but I'm guessing not enough to really make a difference. But what about power - V8 vs. V6. Obviously, the 8 has more power but how noticeable is it? And what about reliability? I know, PPI before purchase, etc. determines a lot, but I want to know what you all think.

So, thoughts, suggestions, any input is welcome!

Best,
Cab

I have a 2012 and a 2016 the difference is mostly in the transmission as the 16 has an 8 speed and the supercharger gives torque quicker. Other than that there us not enough difference to matter. From idle the v8 pulls better but the v6 catches up quickly. Sensible driving won't notice much difference. V8 has a little better sound, low rumble.
Get the 12 as the timing chain tensioner is better.
