Hello, I just bought a 2013 LR4 HSE (Orkney Gray) and I am loving it. After reading through the manuel, I realized that one of the options in the Instrument Panel Menu is not displaying in the message center. Under Main Menu, the Show Warnings, Vehicle Set-up, Trip Computer, and Display Settings are options, but the Service Menu does not appear.

Any idea why this option is absent? Would the dealer have disabled this for any reason? I find it concerning that I am unable to check the oil level using this option.

I plan on asking the dealer, but I thought I would throw out to the forum to make sure I wasn't missing something.

You can only see it when the vehicle is NOT running.

Turn the LR off (or before you start it), press the ignition button without holding the brake pedal, it will power on the systems, then you should see a few more menu items, Service being one of them.
