Angry NO Tires for an LR4!

Guys, we have been unarmed! To my knowledge, the ONLY tire in 255/55/R19 that was anything other than a "highway" tire was the Pirelli ATR. I've been using a set and they are the perfect combo of highway and stupendous off road in all conditions. Now, I've worn them out and want another set of the same. Turns out, Pirelli stopped making them!
I searched everything in that size and no one makes anything but "street" tires! My Land Rover goes lots of places not considered a street and I need more than what's out there. Anybody know of anything comparable to the ATR; I'm desperate! I'd guess my only other alternative is buying new rims in a different size????
LAND ROVER really should look into this as it really guts the capability of my vehicle!

Or you could try the Atturo Trail Blade MT like I have. 255/55R19 same size your looking for.

Here is a link to my review on them. I have a 3k miles on them now and I couldn't be happier. They are definitely at home off the beaten path.

Goodyear wrangler duratracs come in that size too.

Sometimes certain tires won't show up if you search by vehicle because of speed ratings. The stock tires were Goodyear Wrangler HP, and they were V rated, so some places won't show you the H or S rated tires. As long as the load ratings are the same and you don't plan on driving well over 100mph, you should be fine with a lower speed rating.

Just put on 255-55-19 Duratrac. Great tires for both objectives.

Continental makes stock tire size. TireRack.com has 12 tires for the LR4.

Default Toyo for a 2012 LR4

PROXES ST II Toyo tires. Quiet smooth. Would not buy anything else. Have worked well in sand and in the mud. We did the Landrover Owners Experience at the Biltmore Hotel. The tires and vehicle were just perfect. Admittedly not serious offroading, but I was very pleased.

Looked at a 2011 LR4 this past weekend.

Are there no 32" tires for 19" diameter wheels? Seeing loads of recommendations for the Goodyear Duratrac in 255/55/19 (30"). Local shop also has Goodyear Wrangler Adventure in 255/60/19 (31").

I gather that Compomotive 18" rims are the only 18" rims that fit the LR4 (with 1mm clearance!) but at $1600 for the rims alone, that's a a huge investment.

Thumbs up Hankook is worth a try . . .

My stock tires needed replacing at about 30k miles - even wear on all 4 is nice on the 2013 LR4 HSE V-8. I got the 255/55R-19 Hankook Dynapro HP2 XL. They're quiet, smooth and work well in dry, rain and snow. Best of all, they're a great deal. I run Hankook's on another car (Ventus V12 evo2) and they're terrific as well.

Default Coopers & 255/60/R19 question

The LR3 HSE (19" rims) I bought came with Cooper Zeon LTZ's - 255 / 55 R19

Cooper Tire & Rubber Company - Cooper Zeon LTZ?

Don't know if I will stay with them although they seem to handle pretty well and have gotten some great reviews.

Is there any drawback to running a 255/60 R19 tire? I've heard about the possibility of moving the wiring harness in the front drivers wheel well.
