Default P0420 p0430 cel

I have these codes, do I need to replace cats? Any advice is appreciated.

Could be cats or O2 sensors (either middle or rear). Bit odd that you’ve got both banks bad at once. I would start by clearing the codes and see what comes back. Need to tackle all the codes, not just the cat codes. If just the cat codes come back, I would look to see what kind of readings you are getting on middle and rear o2 sensors (if you have a scan tool), or just start swapping the sensors out and see if the codes go away. Maybe have the exhaust tested to see if they can determine based on a gas analysis. If it turns out to be the cats, you’ll want to figure out why the cats went bad. The vehicle history can provide some clues - not sure how long you’ve had it, but blown heads can leak coolant or large amounts of oil into the exhaust and destroy the cats. Running rich can melt the cats.
