I have a solution to this problem using a standard Sirius antenna that plugs into the FAKRA connector on the LR4 with ease. There really is only 1 wire, the black one you see on the outside has nothing in it. My dealer was completely useless as to solving the antenna height issue because they are pretty content regularly selling antennas after they get ripped off by garage doors, parking garage entrance bars, et cetera. Car audio shops would not help as they did not want the liability of working on a new land rover. I fixed the while thing for about $15 and 20 minutes work (not counting my research and experimenting) If you would like I can e-mail photos on how it is done and the antenna I bought from Amazon. It amazes me how fantastic of a vehicle the 2013 LR4 is but the electronics are so slow and clunky, not to mention there is no legitimate reason why you need a Sirius antenna the size of a brick on the roof....but I digress.

 

John - I'd like to see those pics. My Thule space box is just a bit too long -- it rubs on the big red brick just a wee bit when the hatch is opened. Can't move my box forward...
