Default Pumkin fluids

My dealer advises the differential and transfer case fluids being changed at 50K. They want almost $800. due to the costs of the "special" lubricants. Is this right? Anyone have a less expensive alternative? I am not physically able to DYI.

I use Royal Purple products in my diffs and transfer case. If you have the locking rear differential I don't know if you can substitute.

The land Rover genuine fluids are expensive.

You can check with a reputable independent shop in your area to see what they would charge. DIY is the cheapest way of course.
