Rear camera blue screen fault finding advice
I have a 2016 D4 Lux with surround cameras. The rear view camera and front right mirror camera show a blue screen with the camera icon crossed out. I couldn’t care less about the other cameras, but since my wife drives this car the rear camera is important.
I have the following fault on the IID tool: B12BD-19(2c) rear camera blue screen- general electrical failure - circuit current above threshold. Clearing it or performing a hard reset does nothing.
I removed the rear camera and found corrosion around the pins, as well as moisture inside so assume it was the camera so ordered a new one. On fitting the new one today the situation remains - no change, so the camera would not seem to be the issue. I would appreciate any advice on what else to try before I go on a hunt for the camera interface module that sits under the driver’s seat.
I have:
- replaced the camera
- visually checked the wiring
- read every post I can find on every forum and am none the wiser
Grateful for any advice, or whether the next step is to find a replacement module.
Thanks,

@Richard Gallant Thanks. I will check the fuses. Forgive what maybe a stupid question but would you check the voltage at the 6 pin lead going into the camera? I don’t know what the voltage should be. Would that be in the workshop manual do you know?
