This could be for the V8's and V6's

We can all rest a little better now that aluminum front cross over pipes are now available. Rear Crossovers are not (as of yet). However, are the rear crossover pipes required for the cooling circuit? Or are the rears more for the heating circuit? It would be so easy to just close off the rear head ports or use nipples with high temp silicon tubing and bypass the heater circuit if that is all it is.

where is an aluminum front crossover pipe available?

 

Mostly from China, via eBay and others. Since JLR redesigned the front pipes as a one piece cast, I'd reckon there's no longer the failure prone to the previous 2-piece design...

 

From what I can tell the aluminum crossover pipes only relate to the SUPERCHARGED 3.0 V6 and 5.0 V8, the NA V8 in the LR4 doesn’t have such an option yet.
