Good morning Guy,

I did purchase a 2015 LR4 manual in PDF format. I'm not really seeing anything that assists with the electrical harness disconnection of the lower tail gat. I was hoping for a quick disconnect but it looks like it is hard wired and really do not want to proceed without getting some direction. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

David

Purchased a manual?? Send me a private message so that we can be sure you have the right manual. All connectors are identified in the manual. We need to support one another. I can't believe someone charged you for that.
Also, I didn't read your first post clearly enough. Replacing the tail gate seems rather a draconian move in order to fix the locking apparatus.

I found this video tremendously helpful when my actuator failed...

The Ford part number (2S6T432A98AF) worked a treat for $36 instead of the LR part number for $100 more.
