Default Replacing Front O2 Sensors on LR4 for both banks

I am working on replacing my O2 sensors and I was able to get the rear sensors but the front ones look a little tricky. I am getting an O2 Sensor Socket but I was hoping to get a little guidance on how to best get to the sensor and the wire connectors to replace both banks. I got the codes P0171 and P0174 for both banks so I am replacing the sensors as I could not find any vaccum or fuel leaks in the vehicle. All the videos from Atlantic British are for LR3 or Rovers and the LR4 is a little different.

Thanks in advance for your assistance!

No real help on changing the sensors, but did you check your PCV diaphragm. It is probably the most common cause for the lean codes. Also, drivers side breather connection to intake plenum sometimes pops loose.

Agreed. How does the exhaust pipe look.
I’d be checking the engine compartment as opposed to just changing the O2 sensors, first.
PCV and MAF are common sources of errors.

Default Thanks for suggestions

I got the 2 rear O2 sensors replaced as I was going off a local repair shop recommendation that both banks of O2 sensors needed to be replaced. The front 2 look challenging to get to so I was looking at some tips to try and get to them before banging around underneath this beast.

The exhaust looks good nothing looks cracked or too worn given that its 10 years old.

Ordered the PCV valve kit to replace it. Just watched a video and it looks super easy to do.

Hopefully when I clear the codes this will do the trick. Thanks!

Default Codes Cleared

That's what I get by just listening to the Mechanic Shop. They told me I needed to replace the sensors and I figured I would just replace them myself. Didn't try to diagnose myself and paid the price.

Replaced the PCV Diaphragm and cleaned the MAF sensor and that did the trick. Cleared the codes and I was able to pass inspection and get my car street legal here in TX!

Thanks for the suggestions! Sending back some O2 Sensors...
