Default Should I buy back my 2012 LR4 ?! I just traded it for a new Defender 110 X

Hi everyone - I am having major buyers remorse over trading in my 2012 LR4 with 107k miles for the new 2024 X Dynamic 110. I have two small boys 6 and 9 and am expecting a third.
My trade value was $7k and they said I could buy it back if I wanted to…, the only thing is the check engine light was on, my AC compressor is broken and need a new one and my next service for $1k was due soon….
even after all of this and driving the new Defender I miss my LR4. Should I buy it back or just move on?! what would you all do … I would love some advice :-/
thank you !!!

I would buy it back. It’s semi low miles and a V8.

the 2013 was slightly better with a few extras.

if you have the money to fix and keep it, I think you will be happy.

Different vehicle, different requirement??
Myself, with that trade in value, I would have just kept it.

I also have just test driven the 110, P400, x-dynamic. I like it, a lot. I might even get it. But the mere 16k offered for the trade in…
The LR4 handles and feels different and she can take my punishing driving moments with ease. Put her through the car wash, then we’re out for dinner. She’s like my favorite old pair of shoes, already. I’m definitely keeping her.

What's wrong with this: https://www.euroncap.com/en/ratings-...iscovery/15702

Besides, didn't anyone tell you? You're not supposed to get into accidents. I've been driving for more than 45 years, including all kinds of military vehicles, all over the world and, in the worst of weather...; I have yet to get into an accident beyond a fender bender... that was caused by someone else.

So I'm happy that there is all of this focus on risk adversity but, it does not circumvent good driving skill and practice... Get off the phone already and stop messing with your makeup in the rear view mirror, and... while you're actively behind the wheel.

I got a 2016 LR4 to replace my 2009 LR3 and regret that. 2009 was bullet proof. 2016 not so much.

actually no I’m not looking for attention I came here to ask people who own LRS for their advice.
im 5 months pregnant and I my LR4 that I’ve driven for 10 years has many memories with my two boys. It’s a special car and I was just looking for similar experiences.

the new car that I paid $85k for (great job on guessing my price !) is a beautiful car but it’s not the same.

So thanks for the insult that was really kind of you I hope it makes you feel better to insult people especially expecting Mothers.
