Suspension Fault

Suspension Fault
I know there are a lot of threads on this topic, but I have a specific question. I am getting a suspension fault with my LR4 now all the way down at access height along with a signal stating that there is no communication with the TPS in the right rear tire. Is there a relation with a control module that would cause both of these to fault or is it just a coincidence?

Well this was a simple resolution. If perhaps you are like my wife, and continue driving with a flat tire for some distance, the height sensors will actually react to the height difference and give you a fault. I don't think JLR designed it that way, but it at least made it so my wife couldn't drive over 35mph with a flat, lol. Put air in the tire and all gremlins went away.

After installing the compressor, the suspension fault warning came on with system fault, special programs not available. When I started my car up I noticed the compressor wasn’t even TRYING to turn on. So I reset the battery, hooked the compressor up on its own to a 12v source (to see if the new one was broke). Ran fine. I recently was reading other forums and they said you can run a wire from positive to negative in the relay slot to simply test if the compressor is getting power from the wiring harness and connectors. Full power!

Can’t tell if there’s a question here or not. If jumping the relay works, then maybe you have a bad relay or bad signal to the relay. You also can probe the slots to see if you’re getting a signal to the relay when you should be, but easiest thing is to just replace the relay and see if it works.
