Ok gang I need some advice. I'm sure this question gets asked a ton, so I guess I'm adding myself to the list.

I'm considering buying a '13 LR4 with 103k miles. I've owned a couple of LRs ('95 and '04 Discos), but never an LR series. I've read that the 5.0 engine is more reliable, which is why I'm looking at the 2013 model. I've read over the "buyers guide" stickied at the top of the forums, but I just wanted everyone's advice on what questions to ask and what to look out for that may be specific to these trucks....e.g. timing chain failing, water pumps, etc etc. Would it be a good idea to see if the seller would let me have a LR dealership look it over?

In a word, yes. A thorough inspection and a view of the maintenance ledger is helpful.
