Tire blues...
#11
Just orderd some cooper Zeon LTZ.
If I were to do a dedicated snow tire again, Blizaks are great. I had Blizzak DVM-1 on my X5 and they were far superior to the Pirelli Ice and snow which were soft and wore out in one season due to what I believe was a bad alignment.
Used the conti's last season in the snow and they did alright. Hated them on my X5.
I have a set of conti's with 1800 miles on them for sale - picked up locally in SoCal. PM me if interested.

The addition of the Blizzack DM-V1s in 255/55-19 size is welcome news. The Pirelli Ice and Snows are OK but nowhere near the Blizzacks or the Toyos (older G-02 Open Country) I am running this winter.
You must have had a bad alignment on the Pirelli's because I have been trying to kill off my winter tires by running them in the summer. The pirelli's just won't wear out. They are started the spring at 6/32 and 20 000 kms later they are at 5/32. I may toss them anyhow as they are getting a little squirelly in the rain. The DM-V1s are much softer compound and I will lucky to get three winter seasons out of them (on my Ridgeline)
