I have the 255/55-19 wheels on my LR4. Need new tires. Old ones are worn out Michelins. I like Michelin tires but geez are they expensive these days. I found a set of conti 4x4 contact that are about $1k. Just curious what you guys are running and if you like them? I am in SE USA.

 

I’ve got Pirelli Scorpion AT+ in the same size. Driven about 30k km with them now. Highway, road, less traveled road and “there might have been a road once upon a time” kind of driving. Have used them this winter as winter tires, too, rather than changing to studded tires. Don’t think there is too much extra noise.

The conti 4x4 contacts look more like road tires, though, so maybe my rec isn’t useful to you.
