Default Product Description

I’ve been reading about the Fuel Injectors being an issue... Eek!

I ran some

Liqui Moly Jectron Fuel Injector Cleaner (300ml) X2 @ $19.69 (AutoZone Rewards)

Then some

Royal Purple MaxClean (591ml) @ $19.79

I also added some UV Dye (1oz) @ $8.20 to the Engine Oil

Checked the Battery; it’s an AGM Super Start Platinum from 08/17. I reckon it a should last me another few years...

Of concern is the Throttle Body, a lot of carbon buildup.

NO Oil leaks detected with UV light but perhaps someone used UV Dye for the Coolant previously as there seems to be quite a bit of residue... Some of the coolant hoses have non-OEM clamps?

Nice ride!!!!! 2011 LR4 5.0 HSE LUX, 171700 miles!!!! Bought it in 2016 with 55000 miles...Nothing has "failed". I've just replaced items as needed. Brakes and rotors, water pump, battery, and spark plugs, new poly bushings for front control arms. Never had any injector problems yet. Might wanna look into getting your own scanner to find problems that come about. I picked up a Nanocom.(google)...it will save you many $$$...the dealer will jack u if u let em...jus sayin

I just today had a complete "reset" done to include: timing chains, guides and tensioners (tensioners upgraded to steel points to reduce wear), valve cover gaskets, vacuum pump seal, engine drive belts, ANOTHER water pump (first one was aftermarket-got 25000 out of it..lol), coolant crossover pipe, both PCV diaphragms (had oil seepage inside of intake manifold!! wth)...front diff pinion seal (started seeping at 168000-i just kept refilling-oopsie..lol), and front diff vent pipe (new one is upgraded to allow blow out of moisture)...all of this work took 4 days to complete...and a bad a&& mechanic shop. (Sorry, the dealer wasn't gonna get their hands on it..lol)...This mech was a master tech for LR, then he opened his own shop.

This cost me a couple of bucks for the "reset", but i feel it was well worth it considering this is my daily driver and I've driven it across the US and Canada a FEW times (8) and its been shipped to Hawaii and back a couple of times. (I have an interesting work field). I now think I can get another 150000 out of her at least!! It's never failed me thru all conditions or terrain..ride it til the wheels fall off!!!

Sea Foam (16oz) X2 @ $17.50

I think that’s sufficient Fuel Additives for now... That’s three (3) different brands, three (3) different times.

Replaced the Fuel Cap (LR053665) @ $18.62

Great looking LR4! Did you notice any real difference in performance, mileage or idle after any of the additives?
