Default what is my sunroof draining into?

The sunroof of my 2010 LR4 has been dumping water from driver side airbag cover or leaks out the bottom of the interior A pillar panel onto the floor. Through my investigation, which involved me taking down the front half of the interior roof lining and snaking the sunroof drain this is what I found: the water was overflowing from the rim of the sunglass roof down the exterior of the line, the airbag and out the cover or bottom of the panel. The snaking definitely was hitting something at what more or less (based on the legnth) should be the very bottom of the drain line. I pulled off the exterior air intake vent covers and cannot figure out what I am looking at (SEE PHOTO I am pointing to it with the screwdriver). I honestly thought it was a bag of coke at first, shoved into that hole to hide it LOL

It looks like the bag is wet inside. I pulled off the driver vent and a similar bag is there but it looks different; more firm shape and doesn't appear to be damp in the bag.

I have no idea what this "wet bag" part is and if/how I can remove it to see if my sunroof line is draining directly into it (or maybe its clogging the line somehow).

Any ideas?

For context of where the close up photo was taken

What is this below the air intake? Although it looks like I am stabbing the bag, I am merely pointing to it

Remove that rubber boot insert and it will be more obvious. The sunroof drain dumps right behind it then down around that sound dampening "bag".

Reiterating what Dakota stated. There wil be a rubber nipple Jutting out. That can get all funky, as the rubber corrodes. You can try to clean it out, to if it is too far gone simply replace the whole line. I have replaced both sides on my 2011. I now do regular maintaince cleaning every 3-4 months. Simply by running a clear tube a few inches down from the top and adding a little pulsed air from my onboard air compressor.

Could you point me to a something that would show me how to get access to that part of the vehicle? My running hunch is that perhaps, somehow the drain line is emptying directly into the bag and that is what is causing line to be block. The passenger side bag looks damp inside (versus the driver's side). I did snake the line and seemed to get to the end and couldnt push the snake any farther (so maybe I was hitting the block, nipple, or bag... who knows?)

But I don't know how to access the area and since I didn't know the purpose bag (or what it is called), I didn't just want to try to rip it out or cut it open to get behind it.
