Default Wheel Compatability: LR3 to LR4

I am buying a second set of 19" wheels for snow tires. Are 19" LR3 and LR4 factory wheels interchangeable? Going on a 2011.

Should be. Lug spacing and wheel offset is the same. I don't know about TPMS sensors though. I am running a set of older Range Rover 19" wheels on my LR4 and they just clear the callipers. These were the winter set for my LR3.

The wheels will work fine, but the pressure sensors are not interchangable. The sensors will physiclly fit fine, but the LR4 won't recognize the LR3 sensor frequency and vice versa.

I figured the LR4 wouldn't recognize the 3's sensors. I never bother with TPMS sensors in my winter wheels/ The huge temperature fluctuations (+5 celcius in the garage and -25 celcius outside always give lots of "false" warnings..

I was surprised on just how large the LR4 calipers were. The Range Rover 19" wheels just fit. I only have about 1/4" between the low profile stick on balance weights and the caliper. I am just waiting for snow/sand/rock accumulation to knock those off.

If they do I am going to go with the bang on rim edge weights...
