i just had mine replaced [2011 LR4] bu no other than safelite. Thier Tech had done a number of LR4s and RRs accoring to him. He showed up with the correct windscreen, heated and removed and installed it new. heated screen works, rain sensor works, he also showed up with new a pillar trims and clips and installed them. Was really satisfied.

 

Oh, I've been through a similar situation with my LR4 HSE before! I also had a cracked front windshield and was worried about retaining the functionality of the heated front screen. Luckily, I found a great local auto glass company that specializes in Land Rover repairs. They did an excellent job replacing the windshield, and I'm happy to report that the heated front screen still works perfectly!
