Default Group purchase

So I decided to scout out and see what deals I could come up with. We have strength in numbers. So I contacted the parts manager at http://www.mm-4x4.com to see about purchasing in multiple orders with multiple people to save some cash. I got a response and he would like to know what we want. If we purchase at or about the same time he will help cut the costs some and help us out. So check out the site http://www.mm-4x4.com let me know if something your interested in and we will get together and make some purchases. Contact me direct if need be.

hmmm... so we order from the UK in bulk and have it shipped to multiple sites in US and Canada? Wouldn't the shipping eat up much of the savings?

I had asked the same question. I think the discount is going to be applied to the item and possibly the shipping also. Think of it like a referral program. I refer you I save money, u refer me you save money. I'm trying to get it set up to maybe they will just discount this forum and the members. Maybe a code or something. Still ironing out the wrinkles. But will need multiple people who are interested to see what kind of deal they will offer. I don't work for the company, only thing I will benefit is the same as everyone else, cheaper prices.

I guess it's safe to say that no one is interested.

Hell, we can't agree on the same oil or filter or spark plug or tires.

I have dealt with M&M 4x4 in the past with no problems, but another thing to remember you are going to get hit with US custom Duty on top of your purchase, mine came in the form of a bill a month later from the shipper.

Tariff taxes are always payable with over seas purchases. You can exempt up to $200 from UK not including shipping. Anything after that for "car parts" is an additional 2.5%. But if your saving 10-30% it's still a deal. Since 90% of our land rovers parts are made over seas, everyone has to pay the tariff. It's usually charged to the customer with a higher price. Don't know why people are afraid to save money, or even demand to pay less. We have the majority, if we can get together, we can get our parts cheaper.

Don't forget about the exchange rate.if its in pounds you will be paying 1.50$ for every1.00$. Not worth it unless its something you can't get in north America
