    I’ve got that same tapping noise coming from #2 cylinder rocker arm. Saw the many reply’s but no real solution? Heavy oil, faulty lifter, faulty rocker arm, slipped cylinder liner, oil control check valve... My tick is when oil hot and at idle, No oil light either, Increase rpm slightly the tick goes away. Idles between 550-600 rpm. What was your root cause and repair? Thanks

    thanks but the retailer is replacing my fan and giving me a store credit for some other stuff to cover the machining. I'm going to go with the Imperial with the ends laser plasma'd off.
