Hi Alex....I'll be doing the front cover/oil pump + water pump job on my 03 4.6 soon. following your set of instructions + RAVE.

Question on your rig...did you have to remove the transmission crossmember support to finagle the oil pan off/out?

Alex-I have a few questions about your maintance list.

    1. Which synethic gear oil do you suggest?
    2. Where can I buy the brass differential fill plugs from?
    3. What is the name of the "green coolant"?
    4. Same goes for MAF cleaner.

    Thank you!!

    Hi Alex,
I received my gauges today, both are mechanical oil press & water temp. The water temp has a 3/8" fitting. Looks like I am going to have to drill and tap the rad hose tee. Speaking of rad hose tee, you used a 32mm/1-1/4, I figured tje upper hose was 38mm/1-1/2". Did that tee fit ok or would you recommend the 38mm?

Thanks Alex! I am unimpressed with the 150amp alternator I have. I am going to go back to the 130 amp.

Thanks for the advice as always!

    Hey Alex,

I have a question about running your electric fan. I put in a 150amp alternator from ebay, but it is noisey on start up. I am considering going back to the stock 130 amp alternator. Is that what you are running? I have a GTO Fan in their that has two fans one 13" and one 15". They pull less than 8volts each so I am wondering if you are finding the 130 amp alternator adequate for your taurus fan that is powerful.

Alex, your mod list says you did HID mod with projectors. Got any pics of that?

I've got some projectors, just need to get brave enough to open up my headlights.
