Default 15 inch steel rims for disco1?

Has anyone fitted 15 inch rims instead of the standard 16 inch ones?
I want to use my 33 inch x 15 tyres from another vehicle on my disco 1.
Any help or advice please?

Lucky 8 used to pedal them for d2 /p38, dunno if that is still the case and dunno if it's d1 option, but you could check. I have seen d1 and others offered on uk sites. You will have to loose your dust covers

You know, they may be too tight with stock-offset wheels, but aftermarket steelies tend to have less offset. Perhaps that is why they clear.

You have to be careful with the off-set so they clear the calipers.

Thumbs up Thanks Guys

I'll have to do a body lift as well, so it makes sense to have as much offset laterally rather than inward. Thanks for your help, at least now I know it can actually be done.
