I have a 1993 LWB RRC that me and a buddy used for parts. I want to build some type of (hybrid) out of chassis and suspension. Is there any other body that will fit on the frame with small modifications? Also would like to replace motor, tranny, transfer case with something different, maybe with a 80's Benz motor, tranny and figure out transfer case adapter? Anyway looking for some ideas, and advise. I think it would be a fun project "maybe". Thanks

 

I would put a Defender 110 body on it. you would need to fab some body mounts, but enough of them have been done to have some good information with a little bit of looking.

another thing i have been looking at doing is to fab a subframe on a '05ish Hyundai Sante Fe so i can bolt in the motor/ running gear/ suspension from a rover....turn a "cute ute" into a "real ute".
