adding a expedition trailer

Default adding a expedition trailer

what do people think about bying one of those expedition trailers to pull behind offoading.. and has anybody had any experinse with them and were to by them..

I think you would really need to justify the cost of the trailer before buying, those things are like $5000.
How often would you use it?
You can buy a used Army trailer for pretty cheap and then carry a tent etc. in it.
Just make sure you get the small trailer not the big one, the big one weighs to much.

If you were actually traveling across some outback region and needed one or it was performing a worthwhile function that would be one thing.

Just to take it out and drag it around while "playing in the mud" off-roading would be quite a useless waste of money.

Are you planning on doing an overland expedition trip somewhere or is it part of a scheme to look '"cool"?
