Default RE: 34" tires?

I just purchased the 2" spacers as well and am awaiting their arrival to install. I have the OME HD lift currently on my disco II and am running ~32" tires with plenty of room to spare (no trimming). An additional 2" of lift should leave plenty of room for a 33" and possibly a 34"; though some trimming would likely have to occur. I'm very interested in hearing everyone elses opinion on this. I wasn't planning on going bigger than 33", but if its possible...

Kevin,
With that much lift on a D1 you will also be needing to replace your drive shafts that currently won't take that much angle.
Also remember that the factory diffs are not real strong and should be replaced before they gernade.

I have a 99' DiscoII with the OME 2" lift with the ToddCo 2" Spacers. I've been running them for over a year now with 33's. Definately, you need to do some prevention work to make sure you don't start breaking things on the trail. I rebuilt both driveshafts (wouldn't want the front to come apart and destroy the tranny), put in a rear Detroit and front TrueTrac diff (set up center lock), and learned the hard way that you need to beef up the rear axle shaft (GBR HD shaft). Since then, things have been great! Lower down to about 18psi and be amazed at where it can go. I'm going places guys with lockers and 35's can go. It kind of makes them look stupid. Have fun.

you can fit 34"s if you cut the hell out of your fenders. <32" require little to no cutting for them to fit.
