Anyone have or use a led light bar? I just ordered one to put on my sd roof rack. Here's the one I picked up 40 Inch LED Light Bar DR 14,400 Lumens:Amazon:Musical Instruments. I've watched them rise up from no where. I would have loved to buy a rigid but they are so far out of my price range. Can't wait to get it and wire it up. Will post some pics when I get it up there

 

Excited to see this. I've seen them on dune buggies and Ford Raptors, but I've yet to see one on a LR. What are you putting it on?

 

I plan on putting it on my roof rack of my disco one. It was either a light bar or 4 round lights but everything I've read about the light bar is positive and all posts say that they out perform the round lights, one post I read said something like " the bar made my 2 100watt Hellas look like flash lights". I started seeing them pop up in jeeps online, I first got into jeeps cause my mom had one that she was going to give to me but that didn't work out so I got a rover. I've seen countless builds with them, they were absolutely everywhere at the past few sema shows. I searched all over the web and forums and have never come across what I plan on doing, maybe ill be a trendsetter lol

 

I have a 42" and a 13.5" - Day Time.

 

How's the beam? Is it super broad?

 

The 42 is broken in three equal sections, the out side sections are 60º floods and the middle section is a 30º spot. The 13.5 is 60º flood.
