I had done some touch up painting and painted the fenders,i did not like it but i did like the door handles painted,i just sanded with 400 and took a heavy 8th of plastic off ,then a bath of wax/tar remover,its been a few months and still looks like i sprayed it yesterday ,thanx for the input!

 

It looks great. However, I wonder about the roof. It looks awesome but I wonder about it catching and retaining dirt. Of course since it is Rino you can blast away at it without fear right

hoping to get an update on how that roof is holding up. I have been trying to research different options. not a lot of data to attest to any lasting performance. is it holding up well?

yeah, i've seen it look good in certain applications, but don't want to touch up every oil change. now, I am thinking a test on one of my work truck bed rails, might be a good idea. maybe a different product on each side.

 

A late reply, if you use black bed liner on your roof, you are going to pull in a lot of heat into the inside of you truck like a heat magnet.

 

noted. thanks mike. i was really interested in the durability on the trim pieces for the disco. i was hoping to hear how it lasted on the roof, as i thought i might cover one of my work trucks, completely. brought this thread up because I do not belong to any p.o.s. work truck forums....thank goodness
