this looks real promising, i think where you realy lucked out was that the top plate and hoop were still straight and no kinked or wrinkled except a little on the leading edge

definitly keep up with pics and measurements because if this is a viable option it will make it way easier for guys to get a nice bumper cheap, i am sure jeep bumpers are more easily found then rover ones

I trimmed the bottom of grill grill and lip under headlight trim so bumper will go up to fill gap and measured for my brackets. The brush guard is not as high as I would like but it will work. If I ever change lights out I will have to pull bumper.

Definitely going to need to trim the bumper in the fender opening, other than that it looks good.

Yep. I've got to take 2 3/4 inches off the sides.

I'm thinking about cutting the lower part that is setting on the jack off to get a little more clearance. Then trim same amount off each side of bottom on front.

I've not had much time to work on it. But I finally made some mounting brackets. Hopefully I will be able to weld them to the bumper next weekend. I just cut slits for the bumper to slide into.

I got my bumper put on. I still have some more welding to do and still have to straighten the bumper more. It turned out good enough for me. It would have been easier with a bumper that wasn't damaged. I only have around $125 in it. I also traded for a set of 16 inch wheels and all terrain tires. 265/75/16
