Default Best way to get HID?

I have a 2000 disco and want to have HID headlights. I was thinking that there are two main ways to do this. The first is to get a set of headlights from the 2003 or 2004 and make them fit. that is if they will fit and if they are truly HIDs, which i am unsure of both. Anyone know the answer to those two questions as well. the second way that i thought about going about changing over to HIDs was to use one of the kits that one can find on ebay. Has anyone had any experience with doing these? If so do you know which ones are good and which ones that i should stay away from? Also about how much would either route cost me? Any information that you could give me or guidence that you could show me would be much apresheated.
cheers,

cheers,
The headlights from an 03/04 will fit your truck, but not without some modification. They are not HID.

Many members here have installed HID kits in their trucks, just do a forum-search and you'll have a dozen or more threads about it to read through and learn from.

Cheers!
