The shifter cover that covers the shifter is a bit big oram I looking at it the wrong way?

The rubber boot, or the vinyl boot?

On a D1 the rubber boot with the metal surround goes lengthwise with the mitred corner at top right.

Maybe you can just use tech screws to screw directly into the sheet metal of the trans tunnel? Do you have photos?

I looked at the link and also installed the hi lo selector. But he rubber boot doesn't fit where it's supposed to. Ideas?

Since I don't have a d1 I will have to modify it.
