Electric Conversation of a Discovery 4?
As far as my concern goes, Land Rover Discovery 4 is THE ultimate car. The only thing I have against it is the combustion engine and fuel consumption.
I'm naive and don't not very much about car mechanics. But still it would be interesting to know, anyone else have been thinking about converting a Disco 4 to electric propulsion?
Would it be possible in theory? In practice?
How large would the alteration of the vehicle be?
Anyone dare estimate what it would cost?

I have been thinking about this myself, since my failed TDI conversion. There is a British company making drop-in conversion kits for Defender/Discovery, so it's entirely possible. You should also check out a guy on YouTube (I lost the video) who converted a Land Cruiser using parts from a Nissan Leaf.
