I jacked with the compressor for tire air concept. I feel that the output is lacking to the point that it doesn't make sense. Once I dumped the original compressor I was left with a nice mounting shelf for one that could handle the job.

I like that idea: mounting a new/capable compressor in the old one's spot. Overall I really like the coils. I've noticed a slightly stiffer ride and some vibration (hoping that's not some future problem in the driveshafts). My favorite part is that I no longer wake up to a low rider in my garage!

I think it's important to note that the spring seats required being drilled and tapped. I lack that skill and tools, but luckily I had a redneck to help. Instead we secured the seat with grade 8 bolts, washers and locking nuts. It's been weeks of driving and they haven't come loose yet.

I also just converted from SLS bags to a terrafirma +2" springs. I originally installed the TF +2" spacers in the rear for the bags, but when I had 2 new Arnott airbags pop in the corse of 1 month while driving straight down the road, I decided to switch to springs. (can't afford to have that happen when out in the middle of nowhere).

I really like the idea of removing the current compressor and replacing it with a aftermarket one. I'll have to look more into this.

I like it a lot so far. No worries about me breaking an airbag in the middle of nowhere anymore. I went with the Terrafirma +2" lift in the front & back, but with so much weight on top the back sits about 1/2" lower than the front. I only hope that it'll even out when I add the ARB bumper + winch.

After I added all the upgrades, I took it for a drive this last weekend and it worked great.
